Young Black & Successful UNDER 30! is an event that was created to honor and recognize young blacks for their success in The Arts, Philanthropy, Sports, Television & Film. Created by A.J. Linton in a joint partnership with The Shrine to credit young unique individuals for their gifts and accomplishments they have shared with the world. A.J. chose to kickoff this first annual event on her birthday February 28. She holds the Arts very close to her heart and avid involvement with VH1 she also chose to team up with them and donate 10% of the profits the VH1 Save the Music Foundation. Each of the individuals chosen to honor have exemplified greatness not only in Chicago but to the world and what better place to recognize them for their efforts in the city they reside in which is Chicago, Illinois. 

Throughout the event, we will have performances from rising artist in the Chicago-land area that are striving to be the best in their respected field. Each individual honored will be presented with a Young Mogul Award for their efforts in being Young Black & Successful Under 30!
